PhasmaFOOD had a sound presence at the 6th Meat Conference held on 1-3 February 2019 in Thessaloniki, Greece. With two technical presentations, on spoilage assessment (minced pork) and minced meat adulteration (pork/chicken and beef/offal), our colleagues from Agricultural University of Athens presented the results and data generated in the framework of PhasmaFOOD. Other two oral presentations highlighted the potential exploitation of process analytical technology and information technologies in the meat industry.
For the six years in series, the Meat Conference gathers together the scientific community, experts and professionals in the field of meat production and processing to discuss the latest research and technological developments.
